About This Event

Join us on Tuesday, April 1, at 12 p.m. in SSC 212 for a presentation by Halim Flowers, a celebrated artist, poet, and advocate for criminal justice reform.

After spending over 22 years in prison, Flowers was exonerated and has since become a prominent writer, poet, artist, and speaker advocating for change within the criminal justice system. His work has gained international recognition, and he aims to inspire others by sharing his transformative journey from incarceration to activism, using art as a tool for social change.

The presentation will be moderated by Professor Allison Camelot, a Sociology professor at Saddleback College. Light refreshments will be provided.
