Title IX is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, pregnant or parenting status, and LGBTQ identity.

Reporting sex- and gender-based violence, harassment, or discrimination to Saddleback College’s Title IX Coordinator is an important step in preventing and addressing prohibited conduct.

There are six areas that fall under Title IX:

  • Sexual Harassment
  • Consent
  • Sexual Assault
  • Dating Violence
  • Domestic Violence
  • Stalking
