Biography
Renee Augsburger is an Occupational Therapist specializing in Neuro-Rehabilitation, with expertise in motor recovery, adaptive exercise, and rehabilitation technologies for individuals with stroke, brain injury, and neuromuscular disorders.
As Program Chair and Coordinator for Adapted Kinesiology (KNEA) at Saddleback College, Renee develops and leads specialized exercise programs, emphasizing mobility, strength, and fall prevention, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all students
Renee is also a Clinical Research Therapist at UC Irvine, contributing to clinical trials on neuromuscular conditions, pharmacology, robotics, and tele-rehabilitation. Renee also consults on tele-rehabilitation innovations with tech companies,
When not working, she enjoys trail running and hiking. She is married with two sons—but her "favorite child" is her dog, Adonis.
