Biography
I was born and raised in Long Beach, California. I graduated from Cerritos College with my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, While receiving my Associate's Degree I was fortunate enough to play Quarterback on the football team. After Cerritos, I went on to receive my Bachelor's Degree from Utah State University in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, where I also played on the football team. Go Aggies! Once my playing career was over, I embarked on a new adventure and found my new love of coaching the sport. After I graduated with my Master's Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation I moved back home where I started teaching and coaching at Cerritos College. During my four years at Cerritos, I taught many different courses in Health and Kinesiology and coached many different positions on the football team. After Cerritos College I received a job at Ventura College, where I worked for 5 years. There I taught many subjects, as well as, coached the Quarterbacks and called the Offensive Plays at VC. I recently got hired here at Saddleback College (Summer 2022), and I am excited about passing on some knowledge to some eager students and athletes. During my free time you will find me staying active, I am usually working out, playing golf, or watching sports. After reading this you may be able to tell I am a complete Jock. My passions are in Health, Physical Education, Nutrition, and Sports. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me at anytime at Jfischer@saddleback.edu.
