Alex Heumann

I have been teaching at Saddleback College with the Adapted Kinesiology Program since Fall 2022. Prior to joining Saddleback College, I worked as an occupational therapist (OTR/L) with equine and aquatic therapies in non-traditional occupational therapy, running Aloha OT, and as a school OT at Community Roots Academy. I also have experience in other areas of post-secondary education including work as an instructor's aide from 2017-2019 at Saddleback and as a graduate level teachers assistant at the University of St Augustine's for Health Sciences in 2022.  I do volunteer work with Interfaith in Escondido, My Kids Place Pediatric Center, and various surf therapy events.  I was born and raised in south OC, was awarded as an Eagle Scout and attended Dana Hills High. I live in San Juan Capistrano with my wife and daughter.
