About This Event
On October 17, 2024, millions of people will participate in Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills by practicing Drop, Cover, and Hold On, or other protective actions that reduce earthquake injuries.
Participation in this drill is essential for ensuring our preparedness in the event of an earthquake. On Thursday, October 17 at 10:17 a.m. we will send a mass notification to the College community to participate in The Great Shakeout Earthquake and evacuation drill. We will “Drop, Cover and Hold on” once that is over, we will evacuate the buildings. The Saddleback College CERT team and the Saddleback College Police Department will be assisting to make this safe and efficient.
