Professor White is a registered nurse. Academic achievements include Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing. She has taught medical assisting, psychiatric technician and nursing students at the community college level since 1991.
Work experience includes a variety of roles including: Clinical Manager of Surgical Services, Perianesthesia Nurse, Med-Surg/Oncology and Emergency Department Nurse.
Currently, Professor White works as a Clinical Nurse Educator at a local hospital and is responsible for educating both nursing and ancillary staff in the SICU, PCSU, Trauma, Rapid Response Team and Respiratory Departments. She is also an instructor for BLS, PALS, CPI and Course Director for Advance Cardiac Life Support.
Her role as associate faculty in the Medical Assisting Program at Saddleback College is one that incorporates all aspects of healthcare delivery including both clinical and administrative skills.
Professor White is a life long learner dedicated to our student's success and their professional development. Her goal is to help educate and prepare our students to successfully work in today's challenging work environment and to help serve others in our community.
