Service Learning can be integrated into the following disciplines (not limited to): Sociology, Psychology (applied Psychology), Communications, Child Development and Educational Studies, English/ ESL, Geography, Cross Cultural Studies, Women’s Studies, History, Political Science, Business (Business Writing), Art, Speech, Foreign Languages, Science, Biology, Nursing, Anthropology, Foods and Nutrition, Geology, Health, Music, Photography, Human Services, and Gerontology.

- Assist students to integrate course materials and their service experiences.
- Maintain a frequent and open communication system for students and site coordinators.
- Monitor students’ placement experience through reflection activities (reflection and application paper assignments).
- Involve agencies as co-educators in this service-learning process.
