Are you registered?

VERY IMPORTANT - Make sure that you are officially enrolled in class by going online to MySite – Classes – View Current Classes. You can be dropped from a class without your knowledge by your instructor accidentally or by the Office of Admissions and Records for such reasons as failure to pay or problems with prerequisites or class repeatability. If you are NOT enrolled in the class, please immediately speak to your instructor about your next steps.

Before going to your first class session, check the status of your class, including start date, location of your class, and instructor as noted on the online schedule. Occasionally, classes change location, instructor, or may be canceled prior to the first class session and after the official class schedule has been printed and/or you have registered for the class.

It is your responsibility to drop classes that you no longer plan to attend. You may drop a class online through MySite – Classes – Register Classes (add/drop), by telephone, or in person through the Office of Admissions and Records. For additional information, click onto this site: Open this folder Registration

If you are unable to officially enroll in a class by the APC – code expiration date, you may be able to add one of our late starting classes. Be sure to stay connected to the online course offerings (as noted in the quick link for the Spring 2009 class schedule) for newly added, reopened, and late starting classes.

To increase your success in the classroom, you should…

  • go to class and participate in classroom activities.
  • purchase the assigned textbook(s) and any other course materials.
  • read and fully understand your course syllabus.
  • organize course material and take/keep notes in an individual notebook.
  • complete all classroom assignments and activities. STUDY!!!
  • seek additional help via your instructor, the college tutoring program, and study groups.
