The Services That We Offer:
Helping to overcome barriers in the second half of life
Enhancing quality of life through life-long learning
Providing and supporting new workplace
Developing lifestyle wholeness in older adulthood
Building relationships and enjoying life
Embracing inner peace for successful aging
Referrals to on-campus assistance such as career guidance and planning, personality and vocational testing, academic and transfer counseling, job placement services (resume, interviewing, and workshops), EOPS, special services, child care, and financial aid
Referrals to appropriate off-campus organizations and agencies based on individual needs and life circumstances, such as housing, food , clothing, medical and legal assistance
Annual scholarships, raised through the help of the Student Development, donations from various organizations and individuals, are awarded to deserving re-entry students
The Center hosts and highlights Women’s History Month every March Women’s Conference that focuses on women’s issues with special guest speakers and experts in their fields
Workshops are held year-round, when requested by interested students, on various topics that concern them specialized support groups for men and women are also formed by interested students at anytime
The Career library has resources, such as books, audio/video tapes, brochures, pamphlets, information on educational/ training programs, and online resources |
