Improve Student Preparedness
Saddleback College will ensure that students gain the foundational skills necessary to complete college level work and achieve career goals.

  • By Fall 2011, enhance by 25% the assessment and testing services at Saddleback College.
  • By June 2013, improve by 100% master planning of facilities, improve by 25% campus facilities by proceeding with construction of new facilities and renovation of existing buildings, and improve by 25% the resources to oversee and improve maintenance and management of existing infrastructure.

Foster Innovation
Saddleback College will employ innovative teaching and technology to enhance instruction and student services.

  • By June 2013, increase by 100% the training services offered to faculty in the areas of teaching innovation and best teaching practices.

  • By June 2012, improve by 50% the access to emerging technologies through the use of mobile applications.

Excel in College Transfers
Saddleback College will increase student transfers to four-year colleges and universities.

  • By June 2013, improve by 5% student transfers to four-year institutions.

Enhance Resources
Saddleback College will improve its ability to expand and develop alternative sources of revenue to support college priorities.

  • By June 2013, increase to 500 alumni giving through multiple social networking platforms and outreach programs.

  • By June 2013, enhance by 5% college efficiencies from current resource use.
