Unscheduled Absences

Division Faculty and Classified Staff (Bargaining Unit)

If you suddenly or unexpectedly require to be absent or late to work, please immediately contact your immediate supervisor and the division office at the earliest possible time. To report your absence or late arrival to work, please follow these steps:

LRC Tutors and Hourly Classified Staff (Non-bargaining Unit)

If you suddenly or unexpectedly require to be absent or late to work, please immediately follow these steps:

  • For LRC Tutoring and Hourly Classified Staff for the Skills Lab (LRC 258), call (949) 582-4519 or email sctutoring@saddleback.edu.
  • For the Libary (third floor computer lab), call (949) 582-4533.

Scheduled Absences

Division Faculty and Classified Staff (Bargaining Unit)

All scheduled absences, including vacation and personal necessity leaves, must be requested on the appropriate personnel transaction form and approved by the immediate supervisor and the division dean in advance. No scheduled absences will be approved by the division dean after the date(s) of the requested leave.

Change in Work Schedule

All changes in the work schedule must be requested and approved by the immediate supervisor and the division dean.

LRC Tutors and Hourly Classified Staff (Non-bargaining Unit)

All changes in work schedule must be requested and approved by your immediate supervisor.
