Are you registered?
All students MUST be officially enrolled in the class.
As a student, make sure that you are officially enrolled in class by going online to MySite – Classes – View Current Classes.
Note: You can be dropped from a class without your knowledge by your instructor accidentally or by the Office of Admissions and Records for such reasons as failure to pay or problems with prerequisites or class repeatability. If you are NOT enrolled in the class, please immediately speak to your instructor about your next steps.
What's the status of your class?
Before going to your first class session, check the status of your class, including start date, location of your class, and instructor as noted on the online schedule or via your MySite. Occasionally, classes change location, instructor, or may be canceled prior to the first class session and after the official class schedule has been printed and/or you have registered for the class.
Dropping Classes
It is your responsibility to drop classes that you no longer plan to attend. You may drop a class online through MySite – Classes – Register Classes (add/drop).
Enrollment Options
Once a class has officially closed for registration (about 24 hours before the first class session), you can petition to add this class by emailing the instructor or coming to the first class session. There is a grace period to add a class late between the first class session and the last day to add (using the Add Permit Code).
To add a class after the first class session, the instructor must issue you an add permit code (APC). If you receive this code, you MUST add your class prior to the expiration on the code.
Once the code has expired. it is too late to add the class. You may want to check the online schedule for later starting classes and wait until the next semester.
