Vacation Message (Automatic Replies)

During summer session and winter break, many students will be contacting you by email for the following reasons:

  • Enrollment in your current and future classes.
  • General questions about your classes.
  • Questions/concerns about past grades.

To avoid frustration for both you and the student, you may consider putting a tailored message onto your college email system.

  • To place your message on your college email:

    • Get onto your MySite by accessing www.saddleback.edu.
    • On the MySite homepage, click onto My Email to Exchange Email
    • After entering your college email address and password, click onto Options (top upper right) to Set Automatic Replies.
    • Click onto Send Automatic Replies . You will have the option to specify the date and time to start your automatic replies.
    • Include a descriptive message. (See example provided below.)
    • You will have the option to send the automatic replies to both senders inside and outside the college.

Shortcut to Email Access: You can easily access your email from the www.saddleback.edu to EMAIL (on the left).

Your email has been received.  Responses may be delayed during the summer.

If you are a student interested in receiving an Add Permit Code for one of my classes, please come to the beginning of the first class session.  I will be adding students based on availability of space.  I would also recommend checking the online schedule on a regular basis as the class may reopen if someone drops before the first class session.

If you wish to learn more about one of my Fall courses , please check my faculty profile and class web page at this site.

If you have a question about your Spring 2012 grade, I will get back to you within the next few weeks.

Professor Gee
