Library Workshops are free and offered in person or online. There are eight different Library Workshops that teach information competency (a graduation requirement) or a different research skill. Attendance is recorded at each workshop.

Sign up at the Library Reference Desk (Library and LRC 3rd floor) or call the Library Reference Desk (949.582.4525) to sign up for a Library Workshop.
Workshops are held in LRC 314.
Online Library Workshops:
The Saddleback Library offers an online version of FINDING ARTICLES and a DO IT YOURSELF: Avoiding Plagiarism webinar through Blackboard. You can self enroll in this workshop.
Sign into Blackboard using your username and password (http://saddleback.blackboard.com)
• Click on the COURSES tab at the top right
• Click BROWSE COURSE CATALOG
• Search Catalog, type LIBRARY WORKSHOP and click GO
• Under Course ID they will see 20133_SB_LIBWRKSHPS
• Click the pull down menu next to this and Click ENROLL
• Click SUBMIT and OK
Congratulations you are now enrolled in the online version of the Finding Articles workshop. Each workshop should take about an hour to complete.
All Library Workshops END on December 4th and you must complete all sections of the workshop to receive credit.
Send your students to the Library Workshops. Offer them extra credit or make it part of your assignments. The Library keeps track of students who attend the library workshops and can send you a report if you request it. QUESTIONS? Contact the Saddleback Library.
