Alto Saxophonist Bruce Babad with Saddleback Jazz Lab

On Monday, March 10th at 7:30 p.m. in the McKinney Theatre, the Saddleback Jazz Lab welcomes alto saxophonist Bruce Babad. Babad has been playing the alto saxophone since age ten. He has performed with blues legend Little Milton, rock-n-roll Hall of Fame artists; The Four Tops, the Temptations, the Platters, Barry Manilow, Natalie Cole and Bobby Caldwell. Currently Bruce can be heard with the 2006 Grammy nominated Bill Holman Band, Luther Hughes' Cannonball/Coltrane Project and the Bruce Babad Quartet. Babad is the Director of Jazz Studies at Fullerton College, (Fullerton, CA) and can be heard on over seventy-five commercial recordings, numerous jingles, television and movie soundtracks.
