Who Is Required To Matriculate
The process begins when a new or returning student submits an application to Saddleback College. Students are required to matriculate based on the three areas listed below and the corresponding questions on the application. If you are required to matriculate, you will NOT be allowed to register for ANY classes until the Matriculation process is completed.
You're required to matriculate, if you meet one of the conditions listed below in each area. If you do not meet any of these conditions and you indicated this on your college application, you will be exempted from the Matriculation process. Please call the Matriculation Office (949-582-4970) if you have any questions about your Matriculation status.
Enrollment Status
- Earned a HS Diploma
- Not HS Graduate, enrolled in adult school
- Not a High School graduate
- Passed GED or received certificate
- Earned certificate of Cal HS proficiency
- Earned foreign secondary diploma or certificate
Your Educational Goals is one of the following
- Obtain a 2-year vocational degree without transfer
- Obtain a 2-year associate degree without transfer
- Earn a vocational certificate without transfer
- Obtain an associate degree and transfer to a 4-year institution
- Transfer to a 4-year institution without an associate degree
- Improve basic skills (math, English, and reading)
- Undecided on goal
- To move from noncredit coursework to credit coursework
Accumulated College Coursework
- Less than 30 college units completed
