Q: How Do I Buy Parking for Saddleback College?

To purchase a parking permit (for the semester), follow the directions here. You can either purchase the permit online using your mysite account or in person at the Parking Office (in the Village by Lot 2: Map). If you purchase online you will have to pay an extra fee.

As of July 2011, a parking permit for one semester is $30 for a car, and $10 for a motorcycle.

Q: I got a parking ticket! What do I do?

If you get a parking ticket, you must do ONE of these two things within 21 days:

1) Pay the citation/ticket (online, by mail, or by visiting the Campus Police Station in person)

2) If you think the ticket was a mistake, then go to the Campus Police Station to contest the citation/ticket.

NOTE: The Saddleback College Parking Frequently Asked Questions Page has the following information:

Please understand that absolutely no one enjoys getting a parking citation. But getting angry about it and being rude to people will not make it go away. If you get a parking citation you have three options. You MUST do one of these three within 21 days of receiving the citation.Judge Hammer

  1. Pay the citation by mail using the envelope provided with the citation.
  2. Pay the citation at the Campus Police station in person.
  3. Contest the citation if you believe it was issued in error. You can do this by filing an appeal at the Campus Police station. The appeal process is in accordance with California law, so you will be required to submit a "Parking Citation Review Request." These forms are available at the reception desk at the Campus Police station.
