American Sign Language Interpreting
American Sign Language is one of the largest minority languages in the United States, being the fourth most used language. It is the natural language of the American Deaf people.
Our American Sign Language/Interpreting program focuses on acquiring communicative skills and grammar, and understanding Deaf culture.
The purpose is to train you to interact effectively with deaf people using their language. If you complete the necessary prerequisites and wish to continue to become an interpreter, we do offer an ASL/Interpreting Certificate.
