Welcome to the ASL program at Saddleback College! If you are interested in learning American Sign Language; learning more about Deaf culture and working with the Deaf. You're in the right place!
American Sign Language (ASL) is one of the largest minority languages in the United States making it the fourth most used language. It is the natural language of the American Deaf people.
Our ASL Program focuses on acquiring communicative skills and grammer, and understanding Deaf Culture.
Current class offerings:
SL 1, SL 2, SL 3, SL 4 (only Spring), SL 101 (only Spring) and Refresher courses for SL 1-SL 3.
