Nando has been teaching at Saddleback College since January 2009. He teaches Economics and Political Science/International Relations. He has over ten years of work experience in economic research, forecasting, economic consulting, and financial services, including positions in Washington D.C. and on Wall Street. He has worked for Standard & Poor's (S&P), Morgan Stanley, and the American Stock Exchange.
He currently is an International Economist at the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) in Downtown Los Angeles and specializes in International Economics and International Trade within the Kyser Center for Economic Research. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Los Angeles Times, Long Beach Press Telegram, Press Enterprise, Ventura County Star, & other local publications and has appeared on ABC TV Channel 7, PBS, NPR, KNX 1070AM, Hong Kong Phoenix TV, Sinovision, Voice of America, and NHK-Japan.
In his spare time, Nando enjoys following politics, foreign affairs, watching hockey, anything Italian (FORZA ITALIA), reading, and traveling.
