WS_FTP-LE Tutorial
Instructions for Configuring WS_FTP-LE

1. Start theWS_FTP-LE program if it is not already running.

2. Click the New button on the Session Properties window.  All but the Host_Type text box should clear as shown below.

3. Click the cursor in the Profile Name: dropdown box and key Web Server and press Tab.
4. In the Host Name/Address: textbox, key net.saddleback.edu, and press Tab.
5. In the User ID: textbox, key [your userid] (your Saddleback College e-mail name).

4. Click the OK button.  A dialog box will display asking for your password.
5. Key your password (your Saddleback Student ID #) and click the OK button.  Your password will display as a series of asterisks (*).

10. The profile window should close and you should be connected to the Web Server.  Your can verify that you are connected to the Web Server in two ways:
• Your directory should display at the top of the Remote System window (upper right-side of the window).
• The message, "226 Transfer Complete" should appear in the status bar (lower left-side of the window).
