Beverly Arrowsmith, Associate Faculty
Beverly Arrowsmith is a working actor/director/playwright, and screenwriter. She is a proud member of The Dramatist Guild and The Orange County Playwright's Alliance. Her play, Four Play won the LAPAC's "Best Play" award. Her screenplay, Protecting Amerika, received a finalist position in The Writer's Network (Shane Black) Awards. She directed the world premiere of Miss Mary, by Broadway playwright, Muriel Resnick. Also, she directed Labor Pains which won a "Dramatist Award." In the past she appeared on "Archie's Place" and currently can be seen in many commercials - - "Discover Boat Show," "National University," "Easy Turf," "Dixieline Lumber," to mention a few. She has studied with some of the greats - - David Alexander, Jose Quintero, and Edward Albee. Some of her roles include: Jessica in Cat's Paw; Grace in Bus Stop; Blanche in Streetcar Named Desire; Elvira in Blythe Spirit, Meip in Diary of Anne Frank; and many more. Arrowsmith loves her position as a professor; she is pleased to share her working knowledge with her students and finds great pleasure in helping them hone their craft.
