About Emeritus

NEW (or Returning*) EMERITUS STUDENTS:
New and/or Returning students must complete a
Saddleback College Emeritus Institute APPLICATION
and send it to:
Admissions Saddleback College
28000 Marguerite Parkway
Mission Viejo, CA 92692
The completed APPLICATION will create or update a
student I.D. number for you, as well as assign a date and time for your Registration Period to begin. Once the Admissions Office processes your application, you will be sent an "Appointment to Register," which contains your registration information.
*Note: You are considered a Returning Student if you did not take a course in the previous semester (excluding the summer session).
CONTINUING EMERITUS STUDENTS: Just prior to registration, your "Appointment to Register" will be posted in your MySite account. To view it, click on My Information, then Appointments.
Students cannot register prior to the date and time assigned to them on their Permit to Register.

The Saddleback College Emeritus Institute was established as a unique opportunity for the pursuit of continuing education and learning for the adult population. As an integral part of the Saddleback College curriculum, the Emeritus Institute is a leader in providing challenging and rewarding programs specifically designed for older adults.
Since its inception in 1976, this college department has increased its course offerings to over 170 classes each semester, at more than 20 convenient locations and successfully serves over 25,000 students annually.
