ABOUT

Slide Show
Back in the 80's, a team effort by our Adapted Kinesiology Instructors Brian Geier and Ron Hastings, Wheelchair Tennis Legend Brad Parks, and Jan Dowd, Junior Programs Director for the National Foundation of Wheelchair Tennis had a dream in starting a camp for our youth with Physical Challenges. That dream came true, 29 years ago, J.A.W.S. (Junior Athletes Wheelchair Sports) was a free sports camp designed for youth 7-23 years of age who use or could use a wheelchair. Last year we decided to empower all people with all abilities by improving their quality of life through outdoor recreation. Our Outdoor Recreation class is one of our many classes offered and is very popular. We're inviting anyone with a disabiltiy to experience fun and see what Saddleback College Adapted Kinesiology is all about.
