DISTANCE & ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Welcome to the Distance & Online Education (DE) program at Saddleback College! This program is designed for students who may not otherwise be able to attend traditional college classes, or those who simply want to take advantage of the convenience and flexibility of distance education classes. Courses offered through our DE program are of the same quality as our traditional on-campus courses, and are taught by our exceptional faculty. Moreover, your degree, certificate, and transcript will be identical to those earned by our on-campus students.
Saddleback College offers a large and diverse selection of distance education classes to thousands of students each semester, using a variety of instructional mediums such as online, video and audio. Many of our General Education courses can now be taken online, and new courses are being added to the DE program each semester. We also offer a large number of innovative hybrid courses, which combine traditional and online instruction.
