Athletic Administration
Tony Lipold
Athletic Director / Dean of Kinesiology and Physical Education
Saddleback College has a rich tradition of excellence both in the classroom and on the competitive field. We are striving to continue that tradition as we close in on our 40th anniversary.
"I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I believe we have one of the most attractive campuses in the entire California community college system and a few pictures on our website will never be able to do it justice. We'd like to invite you to visit our campus, take a tour, meet some of our staff members, and see what South Orange County has to offer. The beautiful beaches, the picturesque foothills, and our campus located just a couple of miles away from both."
"Don't think of Saddleback as one of your last options. Think of it as your first option and an opportunity to develop friendships, good academic skills, competitive athletic skills, and a springboard to use to send you on your way to a four-year college and a bachelor's degree."
"The Mission Football Conference is often recognized as the top football conference in the state and the Orange Empire Conference (which governs our other 18 sports) is recognized as the top conference in the nation in some sports. You'll see some of the very best competition and you'll be pushed to become the very best student and athlete you could possibly be."
"We're here for you. We want to see you succeed."
"Come join the Gaucho family!"
