A Feast of Lights has been a holiday tradition for over 25 years! Perhaps one of the oldest traditions at Saddleback College, this year’s Feast of Lights will highlight both old and new holiday favorites for chorus and orchestra. Get the holiday season started off with this sparkling concert for all ages! Due to the popularity of this wonderful holiday, program, an evening performance has been added on Friday.  Special hors d’oeuvres provided by Saddleback College’s exquisite Culinary Arts program.

An English Garden: A Choral Concert

Concert Pianist Norman Krieger Master Class

Concert artist and USC piano professor Norman Krieger will present a master class.  Saddleback advanced piano students will perform. A native of Los Angeles, Krieger is one of the most acclaimed pianists of his generation, highly regarded as an artist of depth, sensitivity and virtuosic flair. He regularly appears with the major orchestras of North America, among them the New York, Los Angeles, Buffalo, Dayton and Hamilton Philharmonics, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Boston Pops Orchestra and the Baltimore, California, Chicago, Cincinnati, Florida, Hartford, Honolulu, Kansas City, Milwaukee, National, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Saint Louis, San Antonio, San Diego and Syracuse Symphony Orchestras.normankrieger.jpg

Who we are….

Angels for the Arts at Saddleback is a fundraising and support organization for the Performing and Visual Arts at Saddleback College.  Angel members donate their time and talent to raise funds and assist with a variety of arts events on the campus.  The group is led by a volunteer advisory board of directors.

Why we exist…

Angel members believe in the importance of offering a full spectrum of arts to the community, with the college as the focal point.  These events bring together Orange County residents from all walks of life, for the purpose of enlightenment, entertainment, and inspiration.

  • Scholarships for students in Visual & Performing Arts
  • Saddleback Civic Light Opera
  • MainStage Kids Children's summer program
  • Master classes with professional artists
  • Hospitality for guest artist performers and crew
  • Enhancements for arts patrons, such as the tram
  • Annual Fundraiser
