MySite Help Topics
MySite Pin & Password Help
When you become a student at Saddleback College the application process gives you a Student ID Number. During the application process you are asked to select a 4 digit PIN. Please make sure you do not lose this PIN number. If you forget your PIN number, please see the recovery options below. If your MySite login is locked, please contact Admissions and Records to unlock the account.
- At the MySite login page, click on “Forgot My PIN.” Your secret question will appear and will allow access to MySite if answered correctly. You may change the PIN at this point. This Secret question must have been set up previously during your Application process. If you did not set up a Secret question during the application process, please see the information under MySite Login Secret Question Add or Change.
- In some cases, the PIN is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
- Come to Admissions & Records with a photo ID to reset your PIN. Admissions & Records will only reset your PIN in person. Phone or e-mail support for PIN recovery is not available.
- If unable to retrieve the PIN by options #1 through #3, contact the Office of Admissions and Records to have the PIN mailed to the permanent address on file. You may call A&R at 949-582-4555 to request that your PIN be mailed to your address.
Please note that the Office of Admissions and Records will not give a student ID or PIN over the telephone or e-mail.
MySite Email Login & Password Help
Email login and password help for MySite email/student email.
Default Email- When you applied to Saddleback College, an email was sent to the email address you specified on your application. That email requested that you click on a button to set your preferred email address for a college correspondence.
If you would like to change the default email address to a preferred (private) email address:
- Log on to MySite and select Web Email.
- Log into your email account and select options and settings.
- You will see where your email is being forwarded and you can change this option.
Your default email username and password are in the following format:

Note that for Email User ID, two zeros were added to the PIN to get the password, and a zero is added to the last name. If there is more than one student named jsmith, they will have a different number after their name. An example email user ID would be jsmith0 and the email password would be 123400.
MySite Login Secret Question Add or Change
You can add or change your secret question following the directions below:
- Log on to MySite.
- Select My Preferences.
- You can add or change your secret question and answer.
MySite Login PIN Number Change
You can change your PIN number following the directions below:
- Log on to MySite.
- Select Change PIN.
Student ID Number Recovery/Disclosure
By Law, Admissions & Records (or any Saddleback College Staff) is not permitted to disclose a Student ID Number over the phone or through e-mail. To recover your Student ID Number, you will need to come to the Admissions & Records office with a photo ID.
