FREE learning assistance for registered Saddleback College Students include the following:

  • Individual and drop-in tutoring in Math, English, ESL, Natural Sciences, and other subject areas.
     
  • Study groups and exam review sessions for specific classes upon request.
     
  • Computer-based learning in the Skills Lab in
    LRC 258.
     
  • Workshops on discipline specific or study skills techniques

General Studying:  Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Appointments:  Students can make individual appointments to work one-on-one with a tutor in the areas of English, ESL, and other select subjects.  Appointments can be made, rescheduled, or canceled in person at the front desk of LRC 212 or by making an appointment through our online schedule. Students must register here https://saddleback.mywconline.com/  before making an appointment. Each session will be scheduled for a time limit of 30 minutes per day or based upon the availability of the tutor.

Drop-in Tutoring:  for immediate assistance in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and other areas, just drop by LRC 212 during its regular business hours. Limited drop-in tutoring is available for English and ESL.

Group Tutoring: for study groups and exam review sessions, please make an appointment at the LRC front desk in LRC 212.  For additional information, call (949) 582-4519 or email sctutoring@saddleback.edu.

Skills Lab Computer Center: This lab offers Saddleback College students the opportunity to use software specific to course assignments, explore learning through the internet, and strengthen their knowledge of technology by learning more about Blackboard, MySite, and how to be successful in online classes.
