Saddleback College Recognizes Professors of the Year

Saddleback College named Dr. Alannah Rosenberg, chair and advisor of the honors program, Fariba Vatandoust, a chemistry instructor, and Collette Chattopadhyay, an art history instructor in the college’s Emeritus Institute, as the 2014 Professors of the Year. The professors were nominated by their students and will be honored on April 28th at the South Orange County Community College District Board of Trustees meeting.  

Emeritus Institute - Distinguished Guest Lecture Series - Spring 2014

The Emeritus Institute of Saddleback College is pleased to announce its 2014 Distinguished Guest Lecture Series which will commence January 24, 2014 and run through May 16, 2014. The Series features a roster of speakers, who come from different academic, governmental, and private sector walks of life.

The opening lecture will feature retired judge Lou Cardenas who is highly trained in law and in Ancient Roman history. He will lecture on the Roman Emperor Caligula.

New Student Enrollment Priorities for Fall 2014

Beginning this Fall 2014 semester, the order in which students register for classes will change. New statewide system-level enrollment priorities have been established to ensure that students who wish to pursue a degree, certificate, transfer, or career advancement are given the best opportunity to enroll in their classes.
