UC Application is Now Open!
The fall 2015 UC application for undergraduate admission is now available! We’ve opened the application earlier this year to give students more time to complete their applications and to take some of the stress out of the October-November time period. Students can start filling out the application online today. Students, be sure to check the top right hand corner of the page, next to their name, to confirm the application is for fall 2015.
Keep in mind:
*Applicants can still only submit the application between Nov. 1 – 30
*Application sections and personal statement prompts are the same as previous years
*Early preparation and submission of the application do not impact admission decisions
We’ve also updated our application resources to help guide your students through the process, such as the quick-start guides for applying to UC for freshman (California, out-of-state and international students) and transfer applicants.
Application fee waivers
UC will continue to waive application fees (for up to four campuses) for qualified students as a feature of the online application. If a student is denied a fee waiver on the application, the student should indicate that he wants to pay by mail and submit a College Board/NACAC fee waiver or a letter, which includes the family income and the number of people supported by that income, to the UC Application Center address provided on the receipt. (Community College EOPS programs can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a UC fee waiver form.)
The UC Application Center should be students’ go-to resource for all application questions. In addition to being the official UC help desk, students should send in payments and fee waivers to this central location
